The Dino Megazord is the iconic combining robot of the very first Power Rangers season — known in Japan as Daizyuzin from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger (1992). It forms from the union of the five Dinozords: Tyrannosaurus, Mastodon, Triceratops, Sabertooth Tiger, and Pterodactyl. As the franchise's very first Megazord, it remains the face of the entire line to this day.

The Legacy Collection is Bandai America's premium 20th-anniversary reissue: noticeably more die-cast (in the arms, sides, tail, and parts of the legs), cleaner paint applications, and metallic detailing instead of plain stickers. This Black Edition is the black-and-gold recolor of that exact mold — a tribute to the legendary Black & Gold Daizyuzin (Japan, 1992) and the "Special Edition" Original Megazord (USA, 1994). It debuted at Toy Fair 2015 and hit shelves later that same year.
