At its core this figure is Daizyujin – known in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as the Dino Megazord – the warrior god from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, formed by uniting the five Guardian Beasts: Tyrannosaurus, Mammoth, Triceratops, Saber-Tooth Tiger and Pteranodon. This particular release is the premium take on it: Tamashii Nations' Soul of Chogokin GX-72, Bandai's high-end collector line built around substantial die-cast content.

What sets the GX-72 apart is how uncompromising it is. Each of the five beasts is a fully realized figure in its own right, packed with detail like articulated tails, the Triceratops' chain-linked horns and the Mammoth's tusks. Together they recreate the show's full transformation sequence: first the Dino Tanker (tank mode), then the upright Daizyujin itself. The set includes the Power Sword, uses the Mammoth's head as a shield, and thanks to its metal heft and solid joints the roughly 260 mm colossus stands rock-steady despite all the folding gimmickry.

The GX-72 is also designed to expand: paired with the separate Soul of Chogokin GX-78 Dragon Caesar, it can form Gouryujin, letting collectors build out the complete combinations seen in Zyuranger. A showcase piece that marries the clean vintage DX silhouette with modern material feel and full articulation.
