At its core this is the Dino Megazord — known in Japan as Daizyuzin from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, and the very first giant robot of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It's built from the five Dinozords (Tyrannosaurus, Mastodon, Triceratops, Saber-Toothed Tiger and Pterodactyl) and shifts between a rolling Tank Mode and the upright Battle Mode.

MZ-0101 is the inaugural release of Hasbro's Zord Ascension Project (ZAP), the high-end collector line that sits under the Lightning Collection banner. Presented in 1:144 scale, it deliberately leans into the original Japanese sentai designs, and — just like the source material — the five separately crafted Zords combine into both Tank and Battle Mode.

What sets this edition apart for collectors is the detailing: translucent parts, specialized paint techniques, and a removable faceplate on the head that reveals the cockpit with sculpted mini Rangers inside. Tiny scaled Ranger figures are included. Released in August 2022, this ZAP debut kicked off Hasbro's most ambitious Zord line to date.
