Description
The base machine is the Dragonzord — known as Dragon Caesar in Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger — the mechanical sea dragon commanded by the Green Ranger (Burai, or Tommy Oliver in MMPR). Summoned by the melody of the Dragon Dagger, it rises roaring from the ocean and fights with its drill tail and the missiles that fire from its fingertips.
This Legacy release is Bandai America's premium reissue of that classic. It's an entirely new mold that transforms exactly like the vintage DX toy, but now carries die-cast parts in the front legs, the chest cannon and the tail tip for real heft in hand. It adds a fully articulated tail of roughly 11 inches plus a set of alternate, more relaxed hands that mirror how the suit's fingers often look on screen. Unlike the 1992/1993 originals it drops the electronic sound-and-light gimmicks, trading them for a cleaner, more detailed paint job.
It stays fully compatible with the rest of the line: combine it with the Legacy Dino Megazord to form Battle Mode / the Mega Dragonzord, then stack on Legacy Titanus for the full Ultrazord. Collector notes: the shoulder gold differs slightly between the US/Canada and UK runs, and Bandai later issued a Black & Gold variant in 2016.
