Description
Titanos is simply an alternate spelling of Titanus, the enormous Brachiosaurus Carrierzord from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. In the Japanese source series Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger he is known as Juukishin King Brachion (Beast Knight God King Brachion). As the heaviest of all the zords, he works less as a fighter than as a rolling battle platform: he carries and combines with the Dino Megazord and the Dragonzord to form the massive Dino Ultrazord — the show's classic all-guns-blazing finisher combination.
This particular figure comes from the "Mix n Morph" assortment of Bandai America's 2010 Mighty Morphin toyline, released alongside the reversioned rebroadcast of the show after Saban reacquired the franchise. It's a deliberately streamlined modern reissue: show-accurate detailing with clean paint and stickers, but unlike the 1993 original it has no electronics or sounds, and the mouth does not open here. It also opens up from the rear differently than either the original or the later Legacy and Soul of Chogokin versions.
For combiner fans, the good news is that the chest plate and claws can be attached to either the 2010 Dino Megazord or the Legacy Megazord — though there's no mount for the Dragonzord's chest plate or tail on this one. All in all a likeable, budget-friendly reissue built for the 2010 generation of toys, rather than the heavy die-cast premium piece that the later Legacy or SoC Titanus would become.
