Kakure Daishogun (隠大将軍, "Great Hidden General") is the third and last of the three Sanshin Shogun (God Generals) to be awakened in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. It embodies the technique-and-agility aspect of the Kakure-Style Ninja Arts: where the massive, heavily armored Muteki Shogun is all brute force, Kakure Daishogun is a leaner, quicker secondary mecha. Its design evokes a lightly armored ninja, seen best in the vented headgear and the near-barefoot, sandal-like feet. In Power Rangers: Mighty Morphin Season 3 it is known as the Ninja Megazord.

It forms as a "Goshin Gattai" union of five Super Stealth Beasts: God Saruder (ape, NinjaRed), God Kumard (bear, NinjaYellow), God Logan (wolf, NinjaBlue), God Gammer (frog, NinjaBlack), and God Kark (crane, NinjaWhite). In robot mode the wolf and ape make up the arms while the crane forms the head. Its signature finisher is the "Iron Fist God Finish." On the command "Tsubasa Gattai" (Winged Fusion), the winged mecha Tsubasamaru docks on to create Super Kakure Daishogun, granting flight and the high-speed "Iron Fist Flying Finish." In the US version this winged combination is the Ninja MegaFalconzord, with the White Falconzord attaching to the back.

DX toy: In 1994 Bandai Japan released the DX Goshin Gattai Kakure Daishogun, with show-accurate stickers and paint, full separation into the five beasts, and compatibility with the separately sold DX Tsubasamaru to build Super Kakure Daishogun. In 1995 Bandai America reused the same mold twice — in the movie toyline and in the Season 3 lineup — as the Deluxe Ninja Megazord. The US releases differ in several details: altered decals, the Crane's neck recolored pink (rather than red), the Ape's swords molded in soft plastic (instead of hard chrome), and different shades of blue and yellow.

As was typical for the era, both vintage versions are largely plastic and shine through their sheer transformation-and-combination play value. It was the later Legacy reissue (Bandai America, fall 2016) that finally added die-cast content along with far more show-accurate paint and proportions — for collectors the perfect companion piece to the nostalgic, sturdy original DX.
