"Max Solar Megazord" is the collector's shorthand for Max Victory Robo (マックスビクトリーロボ), the souped-up super-combination from Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive. It forms when the Max Liner / Max Shuttle — the Titanium Ranger's Max Solarzord in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue — breaks apart into armor and clamps onto Victory Robo on the command "3-5-6, V! Max Formation!". In this mode the robot gains foot-jets for extra speed and agility plus Liner Boy's solar panels, which feed it a constant supply of solar power and can even absorb incoming Psyma energy blasts (Max Nova Absorption).

This Black Edition recreates the one-off finale form from Episode 50, the season finale. After the standard Max Victory Robo was destroyed and both Victory Mars and the Grand Liner were knocked out, the team returned in an all-black Max Victory Robo driven purely by the pilots' concentrated willpower — its mental energy. In place of the blue-hilted Braver Sword it wields a blade with a red hilt: a jet-black, ominous recolor of every 99-Machine plus Liner Boy, and the show's dramatic last-ditch counterattack.

As a toy it was released by Bandai Japan as a die-cast DX (Chogokin, GD-15B line) — a straight black repaint of the DX Max Victory Robo with GoGoFive's signature metal heft and the same combination gimmicks. Premium Bandai later revisited the form in 2020 with the "Super Mini-Pla Black Max Victory Robo" model kit. There is no Power Rangers / Bandai America counterpart: the black variant stayed GoGoFive-exclusive, making it a sought-after Japan-only grail for collectors.
