The Predazord (GaoHunter in Japan) is the second major combining mecha of Wild Force / Gaoranger and belongs to the lone wolf warrior. In Gaoranger these are GaoSilver's (Shirogane's) personal Power Animals — GaoWolf, GaoHammerhead and GaoLigator (Alligator); in Wild Force, the Predator Wildzords of Merrick Baliton, the Lunar Wolf Ranger. Built from Wolf, Hammerhead Shark and Alligator, it is a darker, more aggressive counterpart to the heroic GaoKing / Wild Force Megazord. Originally the cursed Zen-Aku (Rouki) abused the mecha and forced it to fight the Rangers as GaoHunter Evil; only when the Dark Mask shattered and Shirogane became GaoSilver did it awaken into its true form, GaoHunter Justice, the "Hunter of Justice." It wields the Crescent Boomerang formed from GaoWolf's tail.

Blue Moon is its supercharged top form: when the Rangers combine their powers with the Predazord, its eyes turn green and the Alligator's chest armor glows blue. The "Blue Moon Wave" finisher is a far stronger, blue-flamed version of the Predator Wave — in Gaoranger, GaoHunter Blue Moon with tenfold power and the "Blue Hammer Shot." This edition captures exactly that moment: the Predazord in its moon-blue battle coloring.

The DX toy: Bandai Japan issued this Blue Moon Edition of the DX GaoHunter as a Japan-exclusive variant — Bandai America never offered the Predazord Blue Moon at US retail, making this coloring especially sought-after by collectors outside Japan. As a classic DX gattai, the three Power Animals hand-combine into the full mecha (GaoLigator as torso and legs, Wolf and Hammerhead as arms), with swappable weapons and the die-cast heft typical of the DX line. A strong counterpart to the DX GaoKing and a genuine highlight of any complete Gaoranger collection.
