Bakuryuu Firenokodon is the fiery sibling variant of Bakuryuu Dimenokodon, Abaranger's Dimetrodon Burstosaur. At its core Firenokodon is a repaint of Dimenokodon in a glowing red flame color scheme, and it holds a genuinely unique place in the franchise: the Bakuryuu never appeared in the TV series and instead hatched only in an exclusive drama-CD-and-storybook adventure (in which it emerges from its egg in Hawaii). Because of that, Firenokodon was the single Bakuryuu never adapted into a Dinozord for Power Rangers Dino Thunder. Like its counterpart, it carries the saw motif in its name – "Noko" comes from nokogiri, Japanese for saw.

In play it behaves exactly like Dimenokodon: docked onto AbarenOh it forms the combination's buzzsaw arm, here dubbed "AbarenOh Nokodon Fire," and it likewise clips onto the other robo forms (BakurenOh, KillerOh). The underlying Dimenokodon – the laid-back "Dimenoko" from Kyoto, voiced in Japanese by Daisuke Kishio – also serves as the internal structure of MaxRyuuOh's right leg in the regular lineup, and the Firenokodon version brings that same mechanism in its hot new coat of paint.

"Lucky Draw" places this piece in the most coveted collector category of all: Japanese campaign and sweepstakes items handed out through magazines or mail-in promotions in tiny quantities, which makes them among the rarest toku collectibles around. The DX Firenokodon was a Japan-only Bandai release, issued together with the drama CD and picture book, and is essentially a fire-red special repaint of the retail DX Dimenokodon. It was never issued by Bandai America/Hasbro (it appeared in neither Abaranger nor Dino Thunder), making it a true grail for completist Burstosaur collectors.
