Description
The Magical Iron God Travelion (魔導鉄人トラベリオン, Madō Tetsujin Travelion) is the personal mecha of MagiShine — Hikaru, the sixth warrior of Mahou Sentai Magiranger (2005). In everyday form it rides the rails as the Magical Train Travelion Express, a golden steam locomotive trailing a string of cars. Only when Hikaru slots the Joint MagiTicket into his Grip Phone and casts the spell "Goo Goo Goludiiro" does the train rear up into a hulking iron giant.
Travelion is no nimble duelist but a slow, heavily armored powerhouse — essentially the team's steam-driven wrecking ball. Its most famous move is Destruction Fire: the hatch on its chest swings open, a golden beam draws the enemy into the boiler, and it incinerates them inside its own furnace until they explode. Round that out with the Piston Punch (rapid-fire piston blows), the Steam Bazooka fired from its smokestack, and energy beams from the ruby on its brow. In Power Rangers Mystic Force it was adapted as the Solar Streak Megazord, there tied to the Solaris Knight (Daggeron).
As a DX toy, Travelion is an absolute unit. Bandai Japan released it in 2005 as the Magical Iron God DX Travelion — a huge set of Head Train, Rear Train, four Cargo Trains and two Remote Liners that stack up from train mode into a roughly 11-inch (28 cm) robot. The Head Train packs light & sound (2 AAA batteries). Bandai America reissued the mold in 2006 under Power Rangers Mystic Force as the DX Solar Streak Megazord — same tooling, different box and paint apps.
The collector's highlight: Travelion isn't just a standalone figure but a construction kit. Its cars and liners plug into the separately sold DX Magi King or DX Wol Kaiser for powered-up combinations. In Japan there was also a Toys'R'Us-exclusive set pairing a golden Grip Phone with the DX Travelion. If you've got half the Magiranger mecha lineup on the shelf, the golden train is the piece that ties it all together.
