Description

"Hyper Change Datas Hyper" is the battle form of the robotic helper Datas (データス) from Tensou Sentai Goseiger (2010). Datas is not the personal mecha of any single Ranger but a standalone support robot, sent to Earth from the Gosei World by Master Head. It works as the team's communication link, early-warning and emergency system and as a locator for enemy activity, and it mostly appears as a comic-relief companion; its design is modeled after an arcade cabinet, referencing the "Super Sentai Battle: Dice-O" game. Datas was not carried over into the US adaptation Power Rangers Megaforce, so neither the character nor this battle form has a US counterpart.

Using the "Hyper Change Headder," Datas enlarges into the giant "Tensou Giant" Datas Hyper. As an independent fighter it relies on boxing techniques such as the Datas Punch and Hyper Uppercut, finishing battles with the Datas Dynamic Crash, in which it fires lasers and Gosei Cards from its chest. Like the other Goseiger mecha, Datas Hyper is modular: it can dock with Gosei Headders and combine with other machines, for example into Mystic Datas Hyper (with the Mystic Brothers, whose split Egg Headder turns its fists into energy blasters and whose Mystic Runner grants flight), as well as into larger configurations built around Gosei Great.

The DX toy was released in 2010 by Bandai (Japan) as part of the "Gosei Header Series." It converts between a compact arcade-cabinet mode and the large Datas Hyper form, with the Hyper Change Headder serving as the trigger. The figure is predominantly plastic (ABS/PVC) with electronics: turning the disc on its belly plays roughly 20 different voice and sound clips, and Gosei Cards are included. Its standardized Headder ports let Datas Hyper mount additional Gosei Headders and combine with other Goseiger mecha sold separately. There was no official Bandai America release, so the item remained a Japan-exclusive.
