In Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger (2013), the "Western Combo" is not a standalone mecha but an alternate arm and weapon configuration for the series' main robot, Kyoryuzin. It is formed when the Zyudenryu (dinosaur-shaped Guardian Beast mecha) Parasagun (a Parasaurolophus, KyoryuBlack's partner) and Zakutor (a Velociraptor, KyoryuGreen's partner) attach as the arms to the core body Gabutyra (the T-Rex piloted by KyoryuRed). The resulting configuration is called Kyoryuzin Western, a gunslinger-themed loadout built around ranged fire and a blade. In the US adaptation Power Rangers Dino Charge / Dino Super Charge these two mecha correspond to the Para Zord and Raptor Zord, which reconfigure the Dino Charge Megazord using the same interchangeable-arm gimmick.

Kyoryuzin's defining feature is its swappable arm system: the T-Rex core stays constant while different pairs of Zyudenryu produce different combat modes. In Western mode Parasagun mounts on the right arm as the Parasa Beam Gun and Zakutor on the left as the Zakutor Sword — hence the "Western" name, evoking a pistolero armed with gun and blade. The Zyudenryu share identical connection ports and can be freely mixed, so besides the Western Combo the remaining set pieces also build the Kung-Fu Combo (Ankydon + Bunpachy).

The DX Western Combo FULLACTION VER. is a re-issue from Bandai's "FULLACTION VER." line, which re-tooled the original 2013 Kyoryuger DX mecha around the show's tenth anniversary; the "Full Action" label points to a redesign nominally aimed at greater poseability than the originals. It was not sold on its own but as the "Western Combo & Kung Fu Combo Set FULLACTION VER.", containing the four Zyudenryu Parasagun, Zakutor, Bunpachy and Ankydon — a limited Premium Bandai (Japan) release, revealed February 2024, shipped September 2024, retail 8,800 yen. The core Gabutyra body (the FULLACTION Kyoryuzin) is required separately. As is standard for the DX line, the mecha are predominantly plastic (ABS/PVC). Collector note: this FULLACTION VER. edition was Japan-only and never released as a Power Rangers toy; only the original Dino Charge Zords were distributed in the West at the time, by Bandai America.
