This item is a color special edition of the Deluxe Dino Charge Megazord from Power Rangers Dino Super Charge (2016), the U.S. adaptation of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger (2013). The Dino Charge Megazord is the team's primary Megazord and corresponds to Kyoryuzin in the Japanese source material. It is assembled from three zords: the T-Rex Zord as the central body (Red Ranger Tyler; Japanese Gabutyra), the Stego Zord (Blue Ranger Koda; Stegotchi) and the Tricera Zord (Pink Ranger Shelby; Dricera). The word "Green" in the product name refers to this limited edition's green deco, not to the Green Ranger's own mecha (the Raptor Zord).

Combination and battle play follow Bandai America's modular "Zord Builder" system: the T-Rex Zord forms the torso while the other zords attach as interchangeable arms, and additional Zord Builder units can be swapped in for alternate arm configurations. In keeping with the wider line, the toy uses the Dino Charger gimmick — inserting a Dino Charger into the zords activates battle modes. An edition-specific Dino Charger is included.

The DX toy was produced by Bandai America and released in 2016 as the "Limited Edition Green" version of the standard Deluxe Dino Charge Megazord. Like the rest of the U.S. Dino Charge range it is all-plastic with no die-cast content, and it contains the three zords plus the full combination gimmick to form the Megazord. Mechanically it is identical to the standard release; the only distinguishing feature is its green paint scheme. This is purely a Bandai America marketing / retail-exclusive variant with no direct counterpart in Bandai Japan's Kyoryuger toy line.
