The Den-O Ressha comes from the toyline for "Ressha Sentai ToQger" (Super Sentai, 2014) and is not a regular team mecha but a guest or "Legend" Ressha created for a crossover promotion. It is modeled on the "DenLiner" from the Kamen Rider series "Kamen Rider Den-O" (2007); both franchises are train-themed tokusatsu productions, which made the collaboration a natural fit. Its appearance traces back to the theatrical film "Heisei Rider vs. Showa Rider: Kamen Rider Taisen feat. Super Sentai," in which the DenLiner transforms into a Ressha and combines with the ToQger mecha. Because ToQger was never adapted into Power Rangers and thus remained Japan-exclusive (Hasbro skipped ToQger and instead adapted Kyoryuger as Dino Charge), this zord — being a Kamen Rider tie-in on top of that — was never released as a Power Rangers or Hasbro toy.

In terms of play mechanics, the Den-O Ressha behaves like the other ToQ Ressha: as a single train car it docks onto the DX ToQ-Oh and adds or swaps parts during the gattai (combination). In the show the DenLiner forms new legs and a Den-O-styled head for ToQ-Oh and can be mixed with other Legend Ressha such as the Kyoryuger Ressha. It also serves as a "sound Ressha": inserted into the ToQ Changer transformation bracelet, it triggers dedicated announcements and effect sounds in the style of Kamen Rider Den-O.

The DX toy is made by Bandai Japan and was released in May 2014 as part of the "Ressha Gattai Series EX." It is a single small train car in plastic (ABS) with no die-cast content; it couples onto the separately sold DX ToQ-Oh and unlocks the Den-O sounds through the ToQ Changer. A notable quirk of this variant is that the toy's leg parts are merely recolors of the Blue and Green Ressha, so the "Den-O face" ToQ-Oh seen on screen cannot be fully recreated with the toy. As a collaborative EX release it was distributed on a limited basis and outside the standard numbered series.
