Description

The Go-Buster Ressha is a crossover Ressha (train) from the toyline for "Ressha Sentai ToQger" (Super Sentai, 2014), the train-themed Sentai built around the "Rainbow Line." Unlike the five core Ressha of the ToQger team, it belongs to the guest/legend Ressha: it depicts the CB-01 / Go-Buster Ace, the red Buster Machine from "Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters" (2012), rendered in train form. Collector note: ToQger was never adapted into Power Rangers, so this train was released in Japan only and never appeared as a Power Rangers toy. (Go-Busters itself was later adapted as "Power Rangers Beast Morphers," but this ToQger tie-in remained Japan-exclusive and was not part of that release.)

In terms of play mechanics, the Go-Buster Ressha stands in for the Red Ressha within the main Megazord ToQ-Oh, swapping out its head and chest sections. The result is the combination ToQ-Oh Go-Buster Ace (listed in some retail sources as ToQ-Oh Go-Buster-Oh). Like the other Ressha, the train can also be inserted into the ToQ Changer (the show's morpher/reader device) and the Renketsu Bazooka, where it triggers its own Go-Busters-themed voice announcements and sound effects.

The DX toy is a Bandai (Japan) release from 2014, part of the "EX Ressha" series (Train Union Series EX) within the ToQger line. It is a small, free-rolling train made of plastic (ABS), with no die-cast content, which is standard for the support and crossover Ressha of this line. The distinguishing trait of this variant is its pure crossover character as a single-train add-on: it has no standalone transformation gimmick of its own but functions as a docking and swap module for the separately sold ToQ-Oh, adding extra Go-Busters announcements through the line's sound devices.
