Description

The Goseiger Ressha comes from Ressha Sentai ToQger (2014), the 38th Super Sentai series, whose entire mecha line is built around trains ("Ressha"). It is not one of the five core ToQger trains but belongs to the range of support trains, specifically the "Train Union Series EX" — a set of small add-on trains, each honoring an earlier Super Sentai team. This one is a tribute to Tensou Sentai Goseiger (2010) and its main mecha, Gosei Great. Because ToQger was never adapted into a Power Rangers season, the train is Japan-exclusive and was never released as a Power Rangers toy. Although the source show Goseiger did air in the West as Power Rangers Megaforce, this particular ToQger train never received a Western version.

On screen, the five numbered main Ressha combine into the robot ToQ-Oh. A support train like the Goseiger Ressha can be slotted into that combination in place of a regular train: its front end stands in for the Red Ressha locomotive, while the rear section flips open to reveal a head evoking the featured legacy team's main robot — here, Gosei Great — so ToQ-Oh gains a themed head and chest. Inserted into the ToQ Changer (the transformation brace), the train also triggers its own electronic announcement sound; collecting the different voice cues across the whole EX range (including the Gokaiger, Go-Busters and Shinkenger trains) is part of the play pattern.

The toy was released in 2014 by Bandai (Japan) within the ToQger line as part of the Train Union Series EX and sold separately. It is made of plastic with no significant die-cast content and is deliberately small and simple — an accessory and collectible rather than a standalone combining Megazord. It is compatible with both the DX ToQ-Oh and the ToQ Changer. No Bandai America or Hasbro release exists; the Goseiger Ressha was only ever available in its Japanese form.
