Description
The Police Ressha (パトカー烈車, Patokā Ressha) comes from Ressha Sentai ToQger, the 2014 Super Sentai season whose mecha are all styled as "Ressha" (trains). It belongs to the Support Ressha (支援烈車) category, meaning it is not tied to a single Ranger but is deployed by the ToQger team as an auxiliary or weapon train; in the story it is among the lost Resshas the team recovers. Collectors should note that ToQger was never adapted into a Power Rangers series and remained Japan-exclusive, so there is no US name and no Hasbro or Bandai America toy of this train.
The Police Ressha is not a stand-alone combining robot but an armament train built around a police patrol-car design. As a "Ressha Busou" (烈車武装, Ressha Armament) it mounts onto the forearms of the main mecha ToQ-Oh, replacing the front sections of the Yellow and Pink Ressha; the resulting configuration is called Ressha Busou ToQ-Oh Police. In this form it arms the Megazord with a police-themed weapon set, essentially a firearm and a set of handcuffs. Its defining features are the white patrol-car livery with police markings and add-on parts.
As a DX toy, the Police Ressha was released in 2014 by Bandai (Japan) as a small auxiliary train within the ToQger line. It is a mostly plastic, budget-oriented piece with no significant die-cast content, compatible with the larger DX mecha (ToQ-Oh, Diesel-Oh) and able to clip onto their arms to reproduce the armament configuration. In Japan it was sold both individually and as part of the Ressha collectible assortments; some support Resshas also exist in limited clear/"Crystal" color variants from special and bundle sets. No Power Rangers version was ever produced.
