Description

Ressha Sentai ToQger (烈車戦隊トッキュウジャー, 2014–2015) is the 38th Super Sentai series, built around a railway/train motif. ToQ-Oh (トッキュウオー) is the primary mecha of the five-member ToQger team and their first main robot, fighting the villains of the Shadow Line. ToQger was never adapted into a Power Rangers season, so both the show and its toys remained exclusive to Japan; there is no official English name and no Power Rangers release of ToQ-Oh. Despite this, resellers sometimes list the toy incorrectly as "Power Rangers ToQger."

ToQ-Oh is formed by combining five "Ressha" (train cars) of the Rainbow Line: the Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and Pink Ressha couple together in a "Ressha Gattai" (train combination) to create the humanoid robot. The Red Ressha becomes the head and torso, while the remaining four cars form the arms and legs; because every colored car fits any limb socket, the limbs can be swapped freely. Its standard weapon is the Fumikiri-Ken ("Railroad Crossing Sword"). Additional Ressha from the line allow for extra armaments and larger combinations.

The base toy, "Ressha Gattai DX ToQ-Oh," was released by Bandai Japan in 2014 as part of the Ressha Gattai series (cars 1–5). It is made predominantly of plastic (ABS/PVC); a meaningful die-cast content is not typical of DX mecha from this generation. The five trains can be played with individually and clip together into the robot, and the Fumikiri-Ken sword is included. The item recorded here is a translucent special edition (marketed as "Rainbow Clear" / "Sparkle"): mechanically identical to the standard retail figure but molded in clear, transparent plastic. This limited, display-oriented variant was likewise sold only in Japan.
