The "Limited Cube Gold Panda" (Japanese キューブパンダ / Cube Panda) comes from Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, the 40th Super Sentai series (Japan, 2016). Zyuohger was never adapted into its own Power Rangers season; the show and its mecha remained exclusive to Japan, so this zord was never released as a Power Rangers toy. Cube Panda is an auxiliary Zyuoh Cube shaped like a panda and represents the gold "Super Mode" upgrade of the standard Cube Kuma (Cube Bear). Like the other optional Cube Animals, it carries an exclamation point (!) instead of a number, marking it as an auxiliary cube rather than one of the team's numbered main cubes.

Every Zyuoh Cube shifts between a compact cube block, an animal form and a weapon form. Cube Panda unfolds into the "Panda Axe", a battle axe wielded by the combined mecha Wild ZyuohKing (assembled from the main and auxiliary cubes) to perform a finisher. It mirrors Cube Kuma's functions but, as the golden version, is more powerful; in the show Cube Kuma is powered up into this gold mode.

The DX toy was produced by Bandai (Japan) in 2016. It is a limited gold repaint of the regular DX Cube Kuma, made of plastic with a gold-chrome finish (not die-cast), using the same fold mechanism to switch between cube, panda and axe forms. The gold Panda was not a standard retail item but a Japan-only promotional premium: to obtain it, buyers had to purchase at least three items from the DX Zyuoh Cube line at a Japanese toy store, a campaign announced in Televi-kun magazine. It came bundled with a small Zyuoh The World collectible figure (roughly 5.5 cm). Because it was distributed only in Japan and only through this campaign, the variant is comparatively scarce on the collector market and was never sold in the West or under the Power Rangers brand.
