Description

The Hebitsukai Voyager is the personal mecha of Hebitsukai Silver (Naga Ray), one member of the nine-strong team from the 41st Super Sentai series Uchu Sentai Kyuranger (2017–2018). Its motif is the constellation Ophiuchus, the Serpent-Bearer, and it is accordingly built as a snake-shaped spacecraft. The US adaptation Power Rangers Cosmic Fury (2023, Netflix) reused only the Zord footage from Kyuranger, while its suits and story were original. Hasbro's accompanying toy line (the Cosmic Zord Mega Pack) covered only five Cosmic Zords – Lion, Wolf, Bull, Chameleon and Shark – so no snake/Ophiuchus Zord was ever released as a Power Rangers toy. The Hebitsukai Voyager is therefore an auxiliary/support Voyager rather than a standalone main Megazord, and as a toy it remained Japan-exclusive.

All Kyuranger mecha are called Voyagers and are constellation-themed spacecraft. Through the Kyutama Gattai mechanic they combine into the robot Kyuren-Oh: the Shishi (Lion) Voyager forms the head and torso, while the remaining Voyagers dock as freely interchangeable arms and legs. This modular system allows many configurations – the Hebitsukai Voyager can serve as either an arm or a leg (in one shown line-up, for instance, the right leg). Its defining feature is the articulated snake body, which extends or folds to suit each combination.

The DX toy is made by Bandai (Japan) and was released on 10 February 2017 as Kyutama 06 DX Hebitsukai Voyager. The set contains the Voyager itself plus its matching Hebitsukai Kyutama (the spherical constellation ball that also serves as the line's activation gimmick). It is made predominantly of plastic (ABS/PVC), as is standard for modern DX Sentai mecha, with no significant die-cast content. The Voyager does not include a Kyuren-Oh of its own; instead it attaches to the separately sold DX Kyuren-Oh, and it was offered as a single Voyager rather than only inside a collected set. The package measures roughly 22 cm.
