Description
Victory Striker (Japanese: ビクトリーストライカー, Bikutorī Sutoraikā) is a late-series support vehicle from Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger (2018, commonly abbreviated "LuPat"), the Super Sentai season that pits the thief team (Lupinranger) against the police team (Patranger). It is not a standalone main Megazord but an add-on vehicle on the Lupinranger side — specifically an oversized Dial Fighter styled after a jumbo-jet airliner — and it grants the Lupinrangers their most powerful mecha, Victory LupinKaiser. Because LuPat was never adapted into Power Rangers, Victory Striker was released only in Japan (and as an Asian import) and never appeared as a Power Rangers toy; there is no official US name.
At ranger scale it loads into the VS Changer to upgrade Lupin Red into the stronger "Super Lupin Red," and it can also combine with a single Lupinranger or Patranger (usually Lupin Red) to form an enhanced fighter mode. At mecha scale it docks with the sentient VS Vehicle GoodStriker plus additional vehicles (including Magic Dial Fighter and Trigger Machine Splash) to build Victory LupinKaiser, with the jet's sections forming armor, back/wings and extra weaponry. The jumbo jet thus doubles as either an attachable weapon or as a combining component of a giant robot, depending on scale.
The DX toy was produced by Bandai (Japan) as part of the "VS Vehicle Series" line and released in late 2018 (Japanese release November 2018). It is a transforming, combinable vehicle in the line's DX standard, made mostly of plastic; the airliner folds into its combat/docking configuration and attaches to GoodStriker and the other VS Vehicles via the series' standard peg connectors to complete Victory LupinKaiser. A near-identical Korean edition (Bandai-licensed distribution) also exists. There is no confirmed information about any die-cast content.
