Description
Tigerlance (Japanese タイガランス) is one of the Kishiryu mecha from the Super Sentai series Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger (2019). The US adaptation aired as Power Rangers Dino Fury (2021–2022), where the equivalent machine appears as the tiger-themed Zord (Tiger Claw Zord). Tigerlance is an auxiliary Kishiryu modelled on a sabre-toothed tiger (Smilodon) that the Ryusoulger team gains over the course of the show. It is not one of the three core Kishiryu but one of the additional beasts that extend the main robot's capabilities.
On screen, Tigerlance operates on its own as an articulated beast and can combine with the lead mecha KishiRyuOh: it attaches as an arm and gives the robot a lance-type weapon, enabling alternative battle configurations. Its defining traits are the prominent sabre fangs, the heavy predator silhouette and the lance/piercing-weapon character that sets it apart from the bulkier dinosaur Kishiryu.
As a toy, Tigerlance was released by Bandai Japan as the "DX Kishiryu Series 04 Tigerlance" (2019). The figure is made predominantly of plastic (with no significant die-cast content), is articulated, and uses the standard Kishiryu connection ports so it can be combined with the separately sold DX KishiRyuOh as an arm or lance. For the US market, Hasbro produced its own, noticeably simplified Zord version within the Dino Fury line; the DX item catalogued here is the Japanese Bandai release.
