The „Boonboom Monster Set" comes from Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger (爆上戦隊ブンブンジャー), the 48th Super Sentai series, which aired in Japan from March 2024 to February 2025. The show is built around cars and vehicles; its mecha appear as „Boonboom Cars" (ブンブンカー), transformable super-vehicles that the team shares in a car-sharing motif. The set bundles two supplementary Boonboom Cars: Boonboom Marine (ブンブンマリン), a turquoise-blue vehicle styled as a mobile aquarium, and Boonboom Safari (ブンブンサファリ), a light-yellow safari bus. Rather than being auxiliary zords tied to one specific ranger, both are additional support vehicles. Important for collectors: Boonboomger was never adapted by Hasbro into Power Rangers, so these zords were released solely as Japanese Bandai toys and no Power Rangers counterpart exists.

In battle both vehicles dock onto the main robot Boonboomger Robo to jointly form Boonboomger Robo Monster (ブンブンジャーロボモンスター). Boonboom Marine becomes the head, acting as a crusher unit with a large biting mouth and a fish-shaped beam muzzle, while Boonboom Safari forms the arms, operating in a claw mode that swings down in heavy strikes. Both carry the oversized „Monster" tires typical of the line. The combined form is geared toward aggressive close-quarters fighting with unpredictable attacks and concludes with its finishing move, the „Bakuage Wild Boonboom Finish."

The DX toys are products from Bandai (Japan) in the „Boonboom Car Series," shipping from 1 June 2024. Construction is mostly plastic (ABS/PVC). Both vehicles roll freely and connect via the standard docking points to the separately sold DX Boonboomger Robo to build the Robo Monster; mounted on the likewise separately sold DX Boonboom Changer, each triggers its own dedicated Marine and Safari sound effects. The variant note: the „Boonboom Monster Set" is a retail bundle edition combining the two DX vehicles Boonboom Marine and Boonboom Safari; in content it is identical to buying the two simultaneously released single boxes, so it includes no exclusive extra parts. No Power Rangers version was ever produced.
