Description

The Boonboom Trailer (Japanese ブンブントレーラー, Bunbun Torērā) comes from the 48th Super Sentai series, Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger (2024–2025), a car- and motorsport-themed show. It is the personal main vehicle of BoonRed (Boonboom Red), the team's leader, and at the same time the central carrier vehicle of the entire mecha system. Shaped like a large car-transporter or semi-trailer truck, it forms the core of the standard robot combination.

Its signature feature is the so-called Gate Mode: when the smaller Boonboom Cars drive through the trailer's opening gate, they instantly transform into their attack or robot mode. In the default combination the Boonboom Trailer joins with the Boonboom Wagon (BoonPink's vehicle) and the Boonboom Offroad (BoonBlue) to form the main mecha Boonboomger Robo; swapping in other support vehicles (such as the PatoCar duo or the Shovel and Dozer) yields alternative formations like Boonboomger Robo Police or Builder. The individual Boonboom Cars also serve as "keys" for the DX Boonboom Changer transformation device.

The "TV Kun Ver." catalogued here is not the standard retail release but a special edition distributed in 2024 through the Japanese children's magazine Televi-kun (てれびくん, published by Shogakukan) — specifically as the bundled appendix of the April/May issue (there named "Super Boonboom Trailer"). It is the compact, DX Boonboom Changer–compatible form of the vehicle rather than the large combining DX mecha, and is made of plastic (ABS); it differs from the on-screen and retail versions through a special clear, translucent, glittery coloring. Like the entire Boonboomger line, the Boonboom Trailer was produced exclusively by Bandai in Japan. Because Boonboomger received no Power Rangers adaptation, the zord was never released as a Power Rangers toy and is therefore Japan-exclusive.
