Description
GoodeBurn and BearKuma 50 make up the gear of Gozyu Polar, the sixth and additional ranger of No.1 Sentai Gozyuger (Japanese: ナンバーワン戦隊ゴジュウジャー), the 49th Super Sentai entry (2025–2026), which also accompanies the franchise's 50th anniversary. Gozyu Polar carries a polar-bear motif (Japanese kuma = bear); the number 50 in the name BearKuma 50 — like Gozyu (fifty) — points to the anniversary theme. The GoodeBurn itself is not a classic giant mecha but a multi-purpose device: a white brass knuckle that serves Gozyu Polar as both a transformation device and a hand weapon, and which folds into a small robo form similar to the TegaSword of the core Gozyugers. BearKuma 50 is Gozyu Polar's own bear-themed attack vehicle.
In play the two pieces interlock: the GoodeBurn switches from its brass-knuckle/weapon shape into its robo form via a folding mechanism and can combine with BearKuma 50. Beyond that, the separately sold DX core mecha of the series can be worked in — above all the DX Tega Sword — so that the various combination forms shown in the series can be recreated. A push button triggers lights along with transformation and finisher sounds; BearKuma 50 additionally plays back original voice samples and attack sounds from the show.
As DX toys, GoodeBurn and BearKuma 50 are made by Bandai (Japan) and consist mainly of plastic (ABS/PVC) with electronics for light and sound. The Japanese release took place in June 2025 (BearKuma 50 on 21 June 2025), with BearKuma 50 priced at roughly 5,280 yen (MSRP). Both items were sold individually and were additionally offered bundled as the DX Gozyu Polar Complete Set. Because No.1 Sentai Gozyuger received no Power Rangers adaptation, GoodeBurn and BearKuma 50 were never released as Power Rangers toys and remained Japan-exclusive; any "Power Rangers" labels circulating in Western retail are merely dealer or search tags.
