The Universe Tega Sword (Japanese テガソード / TegaSword, shown here in its silver „UNI." version) comes from „No.1 Sentai Gozyuger" (ナンバーワン戦隊ゴジュウジャー), the 49th Super Sentai series, which aired in 2025 on TV Asahi. The TegaSword is both a transformation device (henshin item) and a sidearm. In the show it is carried by two factions: the core Gozyuger team wields gold TegaSwords, while the „Universe Warriors" carry the silver version. The Universe Warriors are individuals who obtained one of the Sentai Rings scattered by the TegaSword, letting them transform into the red leader Ranger of a past Sentai team; each has a wish that is meant to come true if they win the „Universe War" and collect every ring.

In play terms the TegaSword is a right-handed gauntlet-style sword with a blue translucent blade for melee combat. Everything is driven by the „Sentai Rings": inserting a ring calls up the transformation or powers of the associated team, so many legacy teams can be played through. The silver Universe version channels the power of whichever ring is inserted, fitting the role of the Universe Warriors. Like the standard TegaSword, the device can also be reconfigured into a robot form.

The DX toy „DXテガソード UNI.ver." is made by Bandai (Japan) and was released on July 26, 2025. Built mainly from plastic (ABS/PVC), it features light and sound effects and runs on three LR44 button cells. It includes two Sentai Rings (Gojuu Wolf UNI.ver. and TegaSword Red UNI.ver.), enabling a silver „TegaSword Red" transformation not seen on TV, and it is compatible with all previously released Sentai Rings. A notable point about this variant: it was originally planned as an online/Premium Bandai item, but the strong reception of the Universe Warriors led Bandai to give it a regular retail release instead. Like the entire Gozyuger line, the TegaSword is Japan-exclusive and was never released as a Power Rangers toy, since this series has no Power Rangers adaptation.
