Special Editions Variants 1

My thoughts on this season:

Animal forms yet again, but this time interpreted in a more dynamic, more combat-driven way than in earlier seasons.

With the Geki Tohja there are different versions, which can quickly lead to confusion when collecting. Besides the Deluxe (DX) version I prefer and collect almost exclusively, there is also a smaller, simplified and correspondingly cheaper variant from Bandai US. This version dispenses entirely with electronics and is only compatible with other non-DX zords. It was released both individually and in various sets and goes under the name "Jungle Fury Transforming Megazords." When buying, caution is especially advised here, since both versions look similar (a heartfelt thank you to Fumpen for the tip, I wasn't aware of this myself before. Learned something new again 😊).

For the sake of completeness, I'd like to mention three more zords that also belong to the Jungle Fury toyline, but which have no place in my collection. These include the Beast Master Megazord, the Jungle Fury King and the Rumble Megazord. In terms of build and material quality, these models come across as noticeably simpler and don't meet my personal standards as a collector.

The Micro Zord line takes on another special role. In this line the zords are depicted in a heavily simplified way and appear more like a hybrid of vehicle and animal. Stylistically they already resemble later lines such as RPM in places. For my collection, however, these variants aren't of interest, since they don't meet my standards either visually or in terms of quality.

In this season, too, there was once again a re-release. The Ninjakon from Ninja Storm was released again under the name Super Legends Ninja Storm Megazord, this time in new original packaging. This version came out as a Disney Store Exclusive under the Super Legends label. Technically, the model remained unchanged.
