Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters

By the US/EU count, Power Rangers: Beast Morphers covers seasons 26 and 27 and is based on the Japanese series Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters. There's a gap of about seven years between the airing of the Japanese original and the US/EU adaptation, since Go-Busters came out in 2012, while Beast Morphers didn't start until 2019.

The setting this time is technology, energy generation and digital threats. At the center is Grid Battleforce, an organization that researches and uses Morphin energy. Compared to previous seasons, the setting overall feels more modern and more technical, with clear references to computers, networks and artificial intelligence.

The Zords and Megazords stick closely to the Japanese original, but were partly simplified for the Western market. Unlike the seasons that came immediately before it, the Zord Builder System takes a bit of a back seat here again (FINALLY), while classic Megazord combinations play a bigger role.
